RaviaCare

Beauty & Skincare E-Commerce Website

Project Overview

RaviaCare is a beauty and personal care e-commerce platform designed for the Gulf region, with a primary focus on the United Arab Emirates market. The platform connects customers with premium skincare, haircare, body care, and fragrance products from trusted international brands including Vichy, La Roche-Posay, Eucerin, CeraVe, and more. The project brief called for a full-cycle design engagement — from user research through final UI screens — covering both desktop and mobile experiences in English, with Arabic localisation support.

The Challenge

Skincare and beauty consumers in the Gulf face a fragmented market: products are available through multiple channels but rarely with consistent information, trust signals, or a seamless purchase journey. Users reported difficulty identifying products suited to their specific skin type, and lacked confidence about delivery timelines and return policies.

Business Goals
  • Launch a regionally relevant beauty e-commerce destination for the Gulf market
  • Support 12+ product categories and 200+ international brands in a single platform
  • Deliver a consistent, high-trust experience across desktop and mobile breakpoints
  • Enable bilingual (EN/AR) audience reach from day one
  • Provide transparent delivery options and logistics information to reduce cart abandonment
Primary Persona

A beauty-conscious consumer aged 20–40, based in the UAE or broader Gulf region. Cares deeply about skin appearance and is motivated to look after their skin — but finds the current online landscape confusing, lacking localised product guidance and trustworthy recommendations. They want a single destination where they can discover, compare, and confidently purchase the right products for their specific skin type, with clear delivery information and easy returns.
